Who is the Point Roberts Preparedness Group and what do they do?
No. PREP has and can help during situations such as heavy snowfalls, unusual high tides or ice/wind storms. PREParing for disasters is important, however, volunteers can also help during the year as situations arise.
Come to our meetings on the first Tuesday of every month at the Point Roberts Community Center to find people of like mind who will welcome your efforts to help. Call 360-945-PREP to find out more or email info@prepgroup.org with your questions. We need telephone, database and event volunteers and would welcome your help.
The Point Roberts Emergency Preparedness Group (PREP) meets on the first Tuesday of every month at the Point Roberts Community Center on Gulf Road at 7PM. All interested residents and guests are welcome. Our emergency responders are also welcomed and encouraged to participate. Also known as the Senior's Center and the Library, the Community Center is located at 1487 Gulf Road.
PREP is short for Point Roberts Emergency Preparedness, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit corporation registered in the state of Washington, USA
